
Sesame Sweet Cheese Ball
There's a whole lot going on in this cheese ball that's mainly a dream for anyone who prefers salt over sugar. The raisins add a small curve ball, but for the most part you'll say "open sesame" when presented with this appetizer that's sure to leave you feeling cheesy.
Ingredients
- 8 ounce(s) cream cheese, softened
- 4 ounce(s) blue cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup(s) butter, softened
- 1/2 cup(s) pitted green olives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon(s) raisins
- 2 tablespoon(s) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon(s) chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon(s) parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup(s) sesame seed, toasted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- To toast sesame seeds, sprinkle seeds in a shallow baking pan.
- Place in a preheated 375-degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden, tossing occasionally.
- Combine all ingredients except sesame seed; blend well.
- Shape into a ball; roll in sesame seed and chill.
- Serve with crackers.
