Ricotta Calzone
Stuff yourself with a delicious calzone filled with ricotta, mozzarella and ham. Prepared in a biscuit or a batch of homemade dough, this is a filling dish.
Ingredients
- 1 cup(s) ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup(s) mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 4 ounce(s) ham, cooked and finely chopped
- 2 teaspoon(s) oregano leaves
- 4 ready to bake refrigerated buttermilk flaky biscuits
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- In bowl, combine first 4 ingredients; set aside.
- Roll each biscuit between 2 sheet of wax paper, forming 4 (6 inch) circles; spoon 1/4 of cheese mixture onto center of each.
- Moisten edges of dough slightly, then fold each circle over, turnover style, forming 4 calzones; using tines of fork, press edges to seal.
- Spray baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and place turnovers on sheet; bake until golden brown 10 to 12 minutes and serve immediately.
- Ready in 30 min.
