Red Wine Roast

This beef roast is the bomb. Infused with red wine, it blends perfectly with the onion soup, brown sugar and rosemary to create a tender juicy serving of beef.

Ingredients

  

  • 16 floz red wine
  • 4 floz water
  • 1 envelope dry of onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon(s) brown sugar
  • 4/25 ounce(s) dried rosemary or fresh rosemary
  • 64 ounce(s) trimmed beef roast
  • 33/100 tablespoon(s) cornstarch (1-2 tsp.)

Instructions

 

  • Place roast in crockpot and season with pepper.
  • Mix the rest of the ingredients together and pour over roast.
  • Cover and cook on low 6-7 hours.
  • Remove roast to rest on platter.
  • Turn crock-pot to high.
  • Whisk cornstarch into juices to thicken.
  • Ready in 7 hours.
