Instructions

 

  • Combine warm water and dry yeast stir and let stand 10 minutes until frothy.
  • Add milk, butter, salt, flour, to yeast mixture and beat until smooth and blended.
  • Cover and let rise at room temperature overnight.
  • The next morning, preheat waffle iron.
  • Beat in the eggs and then add the baking soda.
  • Pour the thin batter onto a well-heated and seasoned waffle iron, and bake until golden brown.
