Pineapple BBQ Ribs
You'll savor every bite of these crockpot country-style ribs, especially if you let them marinate overnight for best results. Pineapple juice gives a sweet and tangy taste to these pork ribs that will have you never making them any other way.
Ingredients
- 64 ounce(s) spare ribs country style
- 2 tablespoon(s) Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 floz red wine
- 1/2 cup(s) cider vinegar
- 2 cup(s) Barbecue sauce prepared
- 1 cup(s) brown sugar
- 1 cup(s) pineapple juice
Instructions
- Trim and discard excess fat from ribs.
- Put meat in an 8 qt.
- pan and add water to barely cover, and then add vinegar.
- Cover and bring to boil over high heat; reduce heat and boil gently for 20 minutes.
- Drain ribs and arrange in an 11 X 13 inch pan.
- Combine all other ingredients and brush evenly over ribs.
- Cover and chill for 2 to 4 hours or overnight.
- Turn ribs several times.
- After marinated, place on BBQ grill and cook 20 to 40 minutes until well done and glazed.
- Continue to turn and brush with sauce.
- Ready in 1 hour and 10 min.
