Peaches in Wine
In the South of Italy when the dinner is almost over, but wine remains in the glasses, it’s time to add a little fruit to the mix. If it’s summertime, peaches are the fruit of choice, slice one up and add the small pieces in the glass of wine. Magnifico.
Ingredients
- 3 firm peaches, peeled, pitted and thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoon(s) honey
- 1 cup(s) dessert wine
- 1 teaspoon(s) cumin, ground
Instructions

Divide the peach slices among four large wine glasses and top with the honey.

Pour 1/4 cup of the wine into each glass and sprinkle with the cumin.

Serve immediately.
