Oscar's Candied Popcorns

Ingredients
  

  • 10 cup(s) popped plain popcorn
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) small gumiedrops
  • 1/2 cup(s) sugars
  • 1/2 cup(s) light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt

Instructions
 

  • Line cookie sheet with waxed paper, and in large bowl combine popcorn and gumediumrops.
  • In medium saucepan combine sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt; mix well.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Cook over medium heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat and add to popcorn candy mix and mix well.
  • With hands dipped in cold water, shape mixture into 2 1/2 inch balls.
  • Place on waxed paper lined cookie sheets and cool 15 minutes.
