Orange Chicken Florentine
Life is but a cream when you've got this orange chicken Florentine on the menu. We predict this will become a family favorite, because it's easy to make and even easier to devour.
Ingredients
- 1 Juice from 1 orange
- 1 cup(s) heavy cream
- 1 dash(es) Garlic powder
- 1 dash(es) Salt
- 1 dash(es) pepper
- 1 Dry white wine
- 2 small chicken breast filets, split and pounded thin
- 2 ounce(s) cooked spinach, seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic and butter
- 2 pieces prosciutto ham
- 2 pieces provolone cheese
- 1 Egg wash
- 1 Flour
- 6 mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup(s) pine nuts
- 2 slices mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Mix orange juice, cream garlic powder, salt, pepper and wine; reduce until medium-thick sauce consistency.
- Wrap chicken around spinach, ham and provolone.
- Dip roll in egg wash, then flour.
- Saute in pan, in oil, until chicken is just done.
- Place roll in baking dish and top with mushrooms, pine nuts, orange sauce and mozzarella.
- Bake for 10 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees, until spinach is hot and cheese melts.
