Old Style Chili Beef Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 24 ounce(s) ground beef
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • 1 pouch onion mushroom soup dry mix
  • 12 floz water
  • 1 can (15 oz.) tomatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoon(s) chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions
 

  • In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, cook beef with garlic until browned, stirring to break up meat.
  • Pour off fat.
  • Stir in soup mix, water, tomatoes and chili powder.
  • Heat to boiling.
  • Reduce heat to low and cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve with cheese.
