Old Style Chili Beef Soup
Try something new with old-style flavor! The mushroom soup brings home the taste with this basic chili beef pottage that can be prepared by even the most novice chef.
Ingredients
- 24 ounce(s) ground beef
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 1 pouch onion mushroom soup dry mix
- 12 floz water
- 1 can (15 oz.) tomatoes, diced
- 2 tablespoon(s) chili powder
- 1 tablespoon(s) Cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
- In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, cook beef with garlic until browned, stirring to break up meat.
- Pour off fat.
- Stir in soup mix, water, tomatoes and chili powder.
- Heat to boiling.
- Reduce heat to low and cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve with cheese.
