
Mini BLT Sandwiches
It's BLT time on a smaller scale. These tiny and tasty creations can be prepared beforehand; however, for better results, assemble sammies right before serving for the freshest taste. Finger foods at their finest.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup(s) mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup(s) sour cream
- 33/100 tablespoon(s) Italian salad dressing mix
- 15 slices cocktail bread
- 3 cup(s) shredded lettuce
- 3 small tomatoes, sliced
- 3 ounce(s) bacon bits
Instructions
- Mix together the mayo, sour cream, and dressing mix.
- This is going to "glue" all of the layers of the sandwich together.
- Make an open-faced mini sandwich with the rest of the ingredients: First spread the bread with mayonnaise mixture to the edges (be generous - I use just less than a tbsp ).
- Add some shredded lettuce, covering the spread.
- Put a small dollop of the mayo mixture in the center of the lettuce, and then add a slice of tomato.
- Add a small amount of the mayo mixture, followed by a nice sprinkling of the bacon.
- Ready in 10 minutes.
