Meatloaf Milanese

Ingredients

  

  • 16 ounce(s) lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup(s) egg substitute
  • 1/2 cup(s) Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 can tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon(s) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 2 tablespoon(s) light butter
  • 1 tablespoon(s) garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper, to taste

Instructions

 

  • In a large bowl combine the beef, egg substitute, crumbs, paste and Parmesan.
  • In a small saucepan, saute the onion in the butter with the garlic powder until translucent.
  • Add to the beef mixture and combine well.
  • Add salt and pepper.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  • Serve with ketchup if desired.
