
Marinated Strawberries
Marinated strawberries in a mixture of Cointreau and sugar, topped with fresh, sweet whipped cream is a dessert so elegant and satisfying, your guests will never know how easy it was to prepare.
Ingredients
- 4 cup(s) fresh strawberries
- 16 ounce(s) fresh strawberries
- 2 ounce(s) Cointreau
- 3 teaspoon(s) sugar
- 1/2 cup(s) chilled heavy cream
Instructions
- Quarter one lb strawberries and gently toss with 1/4 cup Cointreau and 2 tbsp of sugar, and then marinate Strawberries and Cointreau mix at room temperature for 20 minutes, stirring while strawberry mixture is marinating.
- Whip 1/2 cup chilled heavy cream with 1 tbsp sugar until it holds stiff peaks.
- Serve with its juice and whipped cream.
