
Indian Bread

Ingredients
- 8 cup(s) peanut oil
- 3 cup(s) all purpose flour, sifted
- 3 teaspoon(s) baking powder
- 8 floz warm water
Instructions

Combine flour, baking powder in large mixing bowl, add warm water in small amounts and knead dough until soft but not sticky.

Cover bowl and let stand for about 15 minutes.

Pull of large egg-sized balls of dough and roll out into rounds about 1/4 inch thick.

Punch hole in center of each round, piercing several times with fork to allow dough to puff; in heavy skillet fry rounds in peanut oil until bubbles appear on dough.

Turn over and fry on the other side until golden brown.

Top with your favorite toppings.
