
Hot Chili Macaroni
The heat is on with this chili macaroni. Prepared with plenty of spice, there’s nothing normal about this fiery favorite. Enjoy a taste bud tickling twist on this traditional favorite. Be sure you have a cold drink close by.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon(s) corn oil
- 1/4 cup(s) diced red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup(s) sweet corn kernels
- 2 ounce(s) diced red onions
- 6 teaspoon(s) finely chopped garlic
- 2 cup(s) cooked macaroni
- 6 Green chilies, roasted, seeded, peeled and pureed (about 3/4 cup)
- 33/50 cup(s) grated hot pepper Jack cheese
- 8 tablespoon(s) heavy cream
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions

In a large saucepan, heat the oil over medium-high heat.

Add the red bell pepper, corn, onion, and garlic; saute until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the macaroni, Green chilies puree, and cheese; stir until well blended.

Fold in heavy cream, season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
