Herb Crusted Salmon

Salmon crusted in fresh herbs brings out a world of flavors. This is a quick and easy fix.

Ingredients

  

  • 12 ounce(s) salmon fillets (2-6oz.)
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) Fresh thyme, to taste
  • 1/50 ounce(s) rosemary, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) parsley, to taste
  • 2 tablespoon(s) fresh basil, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) chives, to taste
  • 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) Cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) kosher salt, to taste

Instructions

 

  • De-stem thyme, rosemary and parsley.
  • Fine-chop all the herbs.
  • Coat salmon with olive oil on both sides, and salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Press chopped herb mixture on one side of each fillet.
  • Saute, herb side down, in smoking-hot olive oil, until the green herbs are golden brown.
  • Flip fish over and put in ovenproof pan, and finish in 400-degree oven for 8 minutes.
