Green and Bleu Salad
This salad is full of color. The Green and Bleu salad is a lemony vinaigrette dressing over a combination of romaine lettuce, green onions, green pepper, cucumber, peas, celery, apple, grapes, and blue cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon(s) apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup(s) lemonade
- 1/2 floz fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon(s) peanut oil
- 2 tablespoon(s) honey
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) celery seed
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) hot sauce
- 6 cup(s) torn romaine lettuce
- 2 green onion tops, chopped
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 English cucumber, chopped
- 1/2 cup(s) frozen green peas, thawed
- 2 celery stalks, sliced
- 1/2 granny smith apple, cored and chopped
- 16 seedless green grapes, halved
- 1/2 cup(s) crumbled blue cheese
Instructions
- Place the vinegar, lemonade, lemon juice, peanut oil, honey, salt, pepper, celery seed, and hot sauce in a blender.
- Puree until blended, then set aside for 30 minutes.
- Place the romaine lettuce, green onions, green pepper, cucumber, peas, celery, apple, grapes, and blue cheese in a large bowl.
- Pour in the salad dressing and toss to coat.
- Ready in 1 hour and 15 min.
