Green and Bleu Salad

This salad is full of color. The Green and Bleu salad is a lemony vinaigrette dressing over a combination of romaine lettuce, green onions, green pepper, cucumber, peas, celery, apple, grapes, and blue cheese.

  • 1 tablespoon(s) apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup(s) lemonade
  • 1/2 floz fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon(s) peanut oil
  • 2 tablespoon(s) honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) celery seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) hot sauce
  • 6 cup(s) torn romaine lettuce
  • 2 green onion tops, chopped
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 English cucumber, chopped
  • 1/2 cup(s) frozen green peas, thawed
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1/2 granny smith apple, cored and chopped
  • 16 seedless green grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup(s) crumbled blue cheese

Instructions
 

  • Place the vinegar, lemonade, lemon juice, peanut oil, honey, salt, pepper, celery seed, and hot sauce in a blender.
  • Puree until blended, then set aside for 30 minutes.
  • Place the romaine lettuce, green onions, green pepper, cucumber, peas, celery, apple, grapes, and blue cheese in a large bowl.
  • Pour in the salad dressing and toss to coat.
  • Ready in 1 hour and 15 min.
