
Fruit Bars
We're raising the bar on fruit snacks. Gather the ingredients together and make a pan of tempting treats that are sure to please both adults and kids alike.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup(s) butter, softened
- 1/2 cup(s) packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 4 cup(s) quick- cooking oats
- 1 1/2 cup(s) mashed ripe bananas
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
- 1/2 cup(s) chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup(s) raisins
- 1/4 cup(s) dried apricots
Instructions
- Beat the butter and brown sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy, scraping the bowl occasionally.
- Add the egg.
- Beat until blended.
- Stir in the oats, bananas, salt and cinnamon.
- Add the pecans, raisins, and apricots and mix well.
- Spoon the batter into a greased 9x13 pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
- Cool in pan on wire rack.
- Cut into 2-inch bars.
- Ready in 45 min.
