Easy Fish Stock

Something fishy is going on around here…and it’s darn tasty. This homemade fish stock can be used as a base for plenty of dishes. It’s chock full of flavor and swimming in goodness. Can those store-bought brands in favor of the real deal.

Ingredients

  

  • 1 pound(s) fish bones and parts
  • 4 cup(s) beverages, water, tap, drinking
  • 1 bunch parsley, fresh
  • 1 medium onion, sliced thinly
  • 2 tablespoon(s) salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) spices, pepper, black

Instructions

 

  • Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 2 hours.
  • Pour mixture through a wire mesh strainer, discarding bones, parsley and onion.
  • Ready in 2 hours and 15 min.
