
Easy Chewy Kids Cookies
WARNING: These super, gooey, chewy delicious cookies will result in happy smiles. The cookie jar will have trouble staying full once your kids get a nibble of these delectable milk dunkers. The good news is they are super easy to make. The better news is you will become the star of the household!
Ingredients
- 1 cup(s) butter
- 1 1/2 cup(s) white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
- 2 cup(s) flour
- 2 teaspoon(s) baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 2 cup(s) raisins or craisins
- 1 1/4 cup(s) oatmeal
Instructions

Cream together butter and sugar, beat in egg and vanilla.

Sift together flour, baking soda and salt and add to moist mixture then add raisins and oatmeal.

Pat evenly into two greased cookie sheets (it’s ok if the mixture is crumbly).

Bake for 12 minutes at 350 degrees.

Cut into squares before they have cooled completely.
