
Decadent Chocolate Muffins
These easy chocolate pastries will take the cake at your next holiday gathering. They are moist on the inside with a brownie-like top that will be sure to melt in your mouth.
Ingredients
- 2 cup(s) flour
- 3 teaspoon(s) baking powder
- 3/4 cup(s) mini chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup(s) milk
- 1/2 cup(s) sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 333/1000 cup(s) oil
- 3 tablespoon(s) brown sugar
- 1/2 cup(s) sugar
Instructions

Heat oven to 400 degrees.

Line or grease bottoms of 12 muffin cups.

In medium bowl, combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, salt and chocolate chips.

Stir in egg, milk and oil just until dry ingredients are moistened.

(Batter will be lumpy).

Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling 2/3 full.

In small bowl combine topping.

Sprinkle evenly over muffins.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes.

Loosen and remove immediately from pan.
