Danish Pastry Dessert
Talk about making a good dish great. What makes this breakfast/dessert so convenient is that you can use pre-packaged pastries and build upon your favorite brand. For best results, chill overnight.
Ingredients
- 6 day-old danish pastries
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup(s) 1% milk
- 1 tablespoon(s) vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoon(s) spices, cinnamon, ground
- 1 pinch(es) salt, table
- 1 teaspoon(s) sugars, granulated
- 3 tablespoon(s) confectioners powdered sugar
Instructions
- Slice and lay pastries in a pan, overlapping if necessary.
- Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, salt and sugar in a separate bowl and pour over pastries.
- Refrigerate 2 hours or overnight.
- Bake in 350-degree oven until puffy and golden.
- Dust with powdered sugar to serve.
