Dad's Zing Cheeseburgers

You'll never look at burgers the same way once you've had a chance to sample these spicy, wasabi-infused poppers topped with gooey cheddar cheese.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound(s) lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup(s) minced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped finely
  • 4 tablespoon(s) wasabi paste
  • 4 tablespoon(s) mayonnaise
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Mix in a large bowl the ground beef, onion and garlic.
  • Season with salt and pepper, and form into 4 patties.
  • Preheat the grill for medium heat.
  • Place patties on the prepared grill, and cook 5 minutes per side or to satisfaction.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of wasabi on the bottom half, and 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on the top half of the bun.
  • Top burgers with a slice of cheese and enjoy!.
