Curried Orange

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon(s) ghee
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1 inch cinnamon sticks
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) cumin seeds
  • 1 pinch(es) cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon(s) fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 1 seeds from 2 green cardamom pods
  • 4 cup(s) orange juice, freshly squeezed

Instructions
 

  • Heat ghee or butter in a medium pot over low heat.
  • Add spices and stir until fragrant.
  • Stir in orange juice and cook slowly for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Serve hot, in small bowls or cups, with or without spoons.
