
Curried Orange
This scintillating soup can be served as an appetizer or a dessert. There's nothing complicated about whipping up a pot of this Indian-inspired dish that gives you curry in a hurry.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon(s) ghee
- 4 whole cloves
- 1 inch cinnamon sticks
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) cumin seeds
- 1 pinch(es) cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon(s) fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 1 seeds from 2 green cardamom pods
- 4 cup(s) orange juice, freshly squeezed
Instructions
- Heat ghee or butter in a medium pot over low heat.
- Add spices and stir until fragrant.
- Stir in orange juice and cook slowly for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Serve hot, in small bowls or cups, with or without spoons.
- Ready in 20 min.
