Crunchy French Toast
Crunch and munch of this cornflake-coated French toast. It's every bit as good as its soft and moist counterpart. In fact, the crunch gives it a bigger punch. Of course, you'll want to top with syrup.
Ingredients
- 2 cup(s) Kellogg's cornflake crumbs
- 2 cup(s) milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup(s) sugar
- 1 tablespoon(s) cinnamon
- 8 slices stale bread
- 1 maple syrup
Instructions
- Place corn flake crumbs in a shallow dish and set aside.
- Combine milk, eggs, sugar and cinnamon in a medium size bowl and dip bread into mixture coating both sides well the dip into corn flake crumbs.
- Grill or fry in a pan coated with cooking spray, cook bread on medium heat until both sides are golden brown, turning once.
- Serve hot with maple syrup.
- Ready in 15 min.
