
Crockpot Tacos
Let's taco 'bout goodness! Try tacos in the crockpot for a change. It makes the meat nice and soft for a shredded beef feel. Make taco night everynight!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound(s) beef chuck roast
- 1 medium onions, sliced
- 1 cup(s) water
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 20 tablespoon(s) taco sauce (10 oz.)
- 8 tablespoon(s) can (4 oz.) green chilies, diced
- 6 taco shells (1 pkg.)
- 1/4 cup(s) shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup(s) shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato
- 1 tablespoon(s) sour cream
Instructions
- Place beef and onion in slow cooker and combine water and seasoning mix in a small bowl.
- Pour over beef and onion.
- Cook on "low" for 6-8 hrs or until tender.
- Remove meat to cutting board: shred beef with two forks.
- Place beef in large bowl.
- Stir in taco sauce and chilies.
- Fill warmed taco shells with beef mixture.
- Top with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and sour cream.
- Ready in 8 hours.
