Crispy Brussels Sprouts

Brussels sprouts are made to be crispy and crunchy... and this recipe is no exception. What sets it apart from the same ole sprouts is the decadent lemon-walnut dressing that's simply to die for.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 ounce(s) Brussels sprouts, trimmed and quartered
  • 2 tablespoon(s) walnut oil
  • 1 tablespoon(s) minced shallot
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) freshly grated lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 dash(es) Freshly ground pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Place Brussels sprouts in a steamer basket and steam in a large saucepan over 1 inch of boiling water until tender, 7 to 8 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, whisk oil, shallot, lemon zest, lemon juice, mustard, salt and pepper in a medium bowl.
  • Add the sprouts to the dressing and toss to coat.
  • Ready in 15 minutes.
