
Creamy Chicken and Waffles
Sometimes the best meals come from the least likely combinations. Imagine a combination of creamy chicken on a plate of freshly-made waffles. Now sink your teeth into this decadent dish.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup(s) butter
- 1/4 cup(s) Bisquick
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
- 2 cup(s) milk
- 2 cup(s) cups cut up cooked chicken or turkey
- 2 cup(s) Bisquick
- 2 tablespoon(s) oil
- 1 1/3 cup(s) milk
- 1 egg
Instructions

Melt butter over low heat in saucepan.

Blend in Bisquick and seasonings.

Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly.

Remove from heat.

Stir in milk.

Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.

Boil and stir 1 minute.

Stir in chicken.

Prepare waffles.

Beat all ingredients with mixer until smooth.

Pour batter from cup or pitcher into center of hot waffle iron.

Bake until steaming stops.

Lift off waffle carefully with fork.

Makes 3 – 9 inch waffles.

Serve hot creamed chicken between each two-waffle section.
