Chicken Tortellini Soup

Creamy, delicious and on top of that super simple to make, when it comes to dinner decisions, this soup is your perfect solution. The cheese tortellini adds a Italian twist to this tasty comfort food. It is even better with broccoli and carrots.

Ingredients

  

  • 1 1/8 cup(s) pkg. Green Giant Frozen Chopped Broccoli, thawed
  • 48 floz water
  • 3 cans condensed chicken broth
  • 1 17/50 cup(s) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cup(s) cubed, cooked chicken
  • 1 cup(s) chopped onions
  • 1 cup(s) sliced carrots
  • 4 floz dry vermouth or water
  • 2 floz garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) oregano leaves
  • 7/8 cup(s) cheese tortellini
  • 2 teaspoon(s) Grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

 

  • In a large saucepan, combine water, chicken broth, soup, chicken, onions, carrots, vermouth, garlic, basil and oregano.
  • Bring to boil; add tortellini.
  • Simmer uncovered 30 minutes.
  • Add broccoli.
  • Simmer an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
  • Serve with cheese.
