Cheese Fondue
Fondue was a 70s dinner party favorite that’s making a comeback in a big way. This classic recipe brings together the sharp flavors of cheddar, the richness of Gruyere and the fruity notes of kirsch for a palate-pleasing dish your guests are sure to love. Serve with cubes of crusty French bread and raw veggies.
Ingredients
- 1 clove of garlic, halved
- 1 cup(s) rose wine
- 4 ounce(s) grated Gruyere cheese
- 8 ounce(s) grated red-veined cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon(s) flour
- 333/1000 ounce(s) kirsch
- 1 Cubes of sesame-coated French bread
Instructions

Rub the inside of the fondue pot with the cut side of the garlic.

Add the wine and heat until bubbling, then gradually stir in the cheeses until melted, stirring frequently.

In a small bowl, blend the flour smoothly with the kirsch and stir into the cheese mixture.

Cook for a couple of minutes until smooth and thickened, stirring frequently.
