Best NY Sandwich
Start spreading the news… This to-die-for deli sandwich is like nothing you’ve tasted before. And did we mention it’s both hearty and healthy? New Yorkers know great sandwiches!
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon(s) reduced-calorie mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon(s) Dijon mustard
- 4 rye bread
- 2 slices flavored nonfat cheese
- 4 ounce(s) lean lower-salt smoked ham, thinly sliced
- 8 ounce(s) thinly sliced green cabbage
- 1 Vegetable cooking spray
Instructions

Combine mayonnaise and mustard in a bowl and stir well.

Spread mayonnaise mixture over each of 2 bread slices; top each with 1 cheese slice, 1 oz ham, 1/2-cup cabbage, and 1 oz of ham.

Top with remaining bread slices.

Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium heat until hot.

Add sandwiches; cook 3 minutes on each side or until golden.
