Bean & Potato Pot

When you need a simple, starchy side with plenty of fiber, this veggie-packed potato dish fits the bill. Serve up some homestyle comfort food with whatever meat you make.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ounce(s) bacon
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) green beans (approx. .5 lbs)
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and cut in quarters
  • 1 pearl onions
  • 3 ounce(s) butter
  • 1 dash(es) salt
  • 1 dash(es) pepper

Instructions
 

  • Boil the potatoes until just about soft.
  • Add some frozen pearl onions, fresh green beans.
  • Add the bacon that has been previously fried.
  • Boil until soft, as you want, strain, add a touch of butter, salt and pepper.
  • Ready in 30 min.
