
Bean & Potato Pot
When you need a simple, starchy side with plenty of fiber, this veggie-packed potato dish fits the bill. Serve up some homestyle comfort food with whatever meat you make.
Ingredients
- 2 ounce(s) bacon
- 1 1/2 cup(s) green beans (approx. .5 lbs)
- 4 potatoes, peeled and cut in quarters
- 1 pearl onions
- 3 ounce(s) butter
- 1 dash(es) salt
- 1 dash(es) pepper
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes until just about soft.
- Add some frozen pearl onions, fresh green beans.
- Add the bacon that has been previously fried.
- Boil until soft, as you want, strain, add a touch of butter, salt and pepper.
- Ready in 30 min.
