
Anthony’s Belgian Waffles
There’s no chance you’ll waffle over your decision to make this breakfast. If you need more than four waffles, simply double — or triple — the ingredients to serve more.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) vanilla
- 2 cup(s) flour
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 2 cup(s) milk, warmed
- 3/4 cup(s) melted butter
- 4 1/2 teaspoon(s) sugar
- 1 tablespoon(s) cinnamon
Instructions

Beat egg yolk until light and add vanilla and butter; mix well.

Combine flour, salt, sugar and cinnamon together in separate bowl.

Add warmed milk to flour mixture, and then add egg yolk mixture to flour mixture and beat well.

Beat egg white until stiff.

Gently fold into batter and pour batter onto heated waffle iron and cook until lightly crisp and golden.

Serve with hot syrup, fresh berries, whipped cream, or bananas and chocolate chips.
