Party Slices

This open-faced “sandwich” is served on a slice of bread. The beef, sausage, onion and cheese mixture comes together wonderfully for a super succulent taste.

Ingredients

  

  • 16 ounce(s) ground beef
  • 16 ounce(s) bulk sausages
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 16 ounce(s) American cheese, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Worcestershire
  • 1 teaspoon(s) dried oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper, to taste
  • 1 Party rye bread- as much as desired

Instructions

 

  • Brown beef, pork and onion until onion is tender; drain.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients except bread.
  • Spread rye bread with about 1 tbsp mixture each and broil until hot and bubbly.
  • May be frozen and broiled without defrosting.
