Anthony’s Belgian Waffles

There’s no chance you’ll waffle over your decision to make this breakfast. If you need more than four waffles, simply double — or triple — the ingredients to serve more.

Ingredients

  

  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 2 cup(s) flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 2 cup(s) milk, warmed
  • 3/4 cup(s) melted butter
  • 4 1/2 teaspoon(s) sugar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) cinnamon

Instructions

 

  • Beat egg yolk until light and add vanilla and butter; mix well.
  • Combine flour, salt, sugar and cinnamon together in separate bowl.
  • Add warmed milk to flour mixture, and then add egg yolk mixture to flour mixture and beat well.
  • Beat egg white until stiff.
  • Gently fold into batter and pour batter onto heated waffle iron and cook until lightly crisp and golden.
  • Serve with hot syrup, fresh berries, whipped cream, or bananas and chocolate chips.
  • Ready in 15 min.
