
Shrimp Pasta Saute
The title doesn’t encompass the broccoli, the snow peas, the scallops and all of the other tender vittles in this dish! Serve with hot Italian bread, a salad and a chilled glass of white wine.
Ingredients
- 2 cup(s) capellini pasta
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into small pieces
- 1 1/4 cup(s) fresh snow peas, edges trimmed
- 16 ounce(s) fresh shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 16 ounce(s) fresh scallops
- 16 ounce(s) pkg. imitation crabmeat, broken into chunks
- 4 fresh garlic, smashed or minced
- 1 dash(es) salt, to taste
- 1 dash(es) freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon(s) Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions

Bring a large stockpot of water to a boil; add a tbs of salt and tbs of oil (to prevent sticking).

Place broccoli and snow peas in steamer and steam for approximately 4-5 minutes.

Heat the frying pan; add 1-tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter, swirl melt the butter.

Put the garlic in and saute for 20-30 seconds and do not brown the garlic.

Add the shrimp and toss, then the scallops, and finally the crab blend.

Saute the seafood for approximately 4 minutes; season with salt and pepper to taste.

At the same time as the vegetables and the seafood are cooking, toss the capellini pasta into the boiling water and cook according to pkg.

Drain the capellini and place in large pasta bowl; top first with the steamed vegetables and then the sauteed seafood.

Toss to combine; serve in individual pasta bowls topped with some Parmesan cheese.
