Venetian Steak
Put a steak in this dinner — cause you’re done with all of the rest. Once you’ve put this recipe to the test, you’ll likely forget there’s any other way to prepare chuck steak.
Ingredients
- 32 ounce(s) chuck steak, cut into serving pieces
- 1 teaspoon(s) oregano
- 1 dash(es) pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon(s) wine vinegar
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 2 cup(s) peeled tomatoes
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) garlic salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
Instructions

Arrange meat in a large skillet, cover with onion soup mix and tomatoes.

Sprinkle with oregano, garlic salt, pepper, oil and vinegar.

Simmer covered for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
