
Cheesy Meatloaf
There’s nothing wrong with loafing around, especially when it comes to this cheesy dinner. This isn’t your mom’s meatloaf recipe – dry onion soup mix and shredded mozzarella make it rich and flavorful.
Ingredients
- 16 ounce(s) ground beef
 - 16 ounce(s) ground pork
 - 1 1.25-ounce envelope dry onion soup mix
 - 2 eggs, beaten
 - 1 1/2 cup(s) dry breadcrumbs
 - 1 ground black pepper, to taste
 - 6 ounce(s) water
 - 2 cup(s) shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
 
Instructions
- 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
 - 
In a large bowl combine the beef, pork, soup mix, eggs, breadcrumbs, pepper and water.
 - 
Stir in 1/2 cup of the cheese.
 - 
Mix well and spread half of mixture into a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
 - 
Spread remaining 1 1/2 cup cheese over meat loaf mixture.
 - 
Top with remaining half of meat loaf mixture.
 - 
Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes.
 - 
Let cool 10-15 minutes before serving.
 - 
Ready in 1 hour.
