Heart Healthy Classic Green Bean

If you’ve got a microwave, you’ll be cooking up goodness sooner than you think. Here’s a great recipe that consists of a classic, crunchy green bean casserole. It’s got a two-part powerful punch with it’s packed nutrients and super delicious flavor, it’s will be a knockout dish at the dinner table.

Ingredients

  

  • 10 ounce(s) pkg. frozen no salt added cut green beans
  • 1/2 cup(s) can reduced-fat and reduced-sodium condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) dried tarragon, crushed
  • 1 cup(s) crumbled fat-free popcorn cakes or rice cakes

Instructions

 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a 1-quart casserole, combine beans, soup and tarragon.
  • Cover and bake for 30 minutes, or until beans are tender and mixture is bubbly.
  • Sprinkle with crumbled popcorn cakes or rice cakes.
  • Continue baking, uncovered, 5 more minutes.
  • Ready in 40 min.
