Moose Chili
If you’ve never samples moose, you may be missing out. Open your mind — and your mouth — to this unique moose chili.
Ingredients
- 5 pound(s) moose meat
- 16 ounce(s) bacon, diced
- 1 Garlic, to taste
- 4 onions, chopped (2 to 4)
- 6 tablespoon(s) chili powder, to taste (2 to 6 tbsp.)
- 2 tablespoon(s) cumin, or to taste
- 32 ounce(s) tomatoes, undrained (2-16-oz. cans)
Instructions

Cook bacon until there is a large amount of bacon grease in the pan.

Add moose meat, onions and garlic, and cook until meat is browned, stirring often.

Add chili powder, cumin and tomatoes and simmer until meat is tender.

If more liquid is needed, add a little water or beer.
