Sweet Strawberry Trifle

Most people don’t realize that preparing a trifle isn’t as difficult as it might seem. Why not whip up this dessert as a sweet treat to say “I love you?”

Ingredients

  

  • 7 package jellyrolls, each cut into 3 slices
  • 1 package (5 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) milk
  • 3 cup(s) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 cup(s) sliced fresh strawberries

Instructions

 

  • Arrange jellyroll slices on sides and bottom of a 2 1/2 quart glass bowl or trifle dish.
  • Prepare pudding according to box directions, except use only 1 1/2 cups milk; let sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
  • Fold in 1 cup whipped topping.
  • Arrange 1/2 of the strawberries on jellyroll slices; top with pudding, then layer remaining strawberries and whipped topping.
  • Garnish with strawberry halves.
  • Cover and chill for 8 hours; serve.
