Veal Goulash

This is a “stick to your ribs” recipe and will be particularly satisfying on a cold winter’s day.

Ingredients

  

  • 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 16 ounce(s) ground veal
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 red bell pepper, diced
  • 3 teaspoon(s) garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon(s) dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon(s) dried basil
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper, to taste
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cans beef broth
  • 2 cup(s) macaroni or favorite pasta, cooked
  • 1 Freshly grated Parmesan

Instructions

 

  • Heat olive oil in a large stockpot over medium heat; add veal, onion, peppers, garlic and seasonings.
  • Cook until veal is browned; drain off excess fat.
  • Add all canned products and simmer.
  • Season to taste and serve with pasta and Parmesan cheese.
