Creamy Tomato Soup

I love this soup from my head tomatoes! Creamy and tasty! This soup goes well with a slice of sourdough baguette or with a side salad! You can never go wrong with creamy tomato soup.

Ingredients

  

  • 29 ounce(s) diced tomato can
  • 1 33/100 cup(s) condensed chicken broth, undiluted (10.5-oz can)
  • 2 tablespoon(s) margarine
  • 6 teaspoon(s) white sugar
  • 3/50 teaspoon(s) chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 32 tablespoon(s) heavy whipping cream

Instructions

 

  • In a large stock pot add tomatoes, chicken broth, butter, sugar, onion and baking soda.
  • Simmer for 1 hour.
  • In a double boiler heat cream until hot.
  • You can also use a small saucepan over low heat.
  • Make sure the cream does not burn.
  • Once heated, add to tomato soup and serve.
