
Falafel
Enjoy a taste of the Mediterranean without ever leaving the comfort of your own home. These fantastic falafel balls are bursting with flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 potato
 - 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) parsley
 - 2 onions
 - 3 tablespoon(s) oil
 - 3 cup(s) cooked, ground garbanzo beans
 - 4 tablespoon(s) sesame seed meal
 - 1/16 cup(s) yogurt
 - 1/8 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
 - 1 tablespoon(s) salt
 - 1/8 teaspoon(s) cayenne
 - 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper
 - 1 teaspoon(s) paprika
 - 1 Juice of lemon
 
Instructions
- 
Cook and mash potato and set aside.
 - 
Mince leaves of parsley.
 - 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
 - 
Chop onions fine and saute in oil until soft.
 - 
Stir in parsley and cook briefly.
 - 
Add to ground beans.
 - 
Mix well with remaining ingredients.
 - 
Form into balls or shape into patties, using about 2 tbsp of the mixture for each one.
 - 
Place on greased cookie sheets and bake for 10 minutes on each side.
