
Ham Salad Sandwich
One bite and you’ll likely eat this ham salad sandwich in a box, with a fox, in a house, with a mouse, here, there or anywhere. We promise — it’s that darn good.
Ingredients
- 4 ounce(s) cooked ham, chopped
- 1/4 cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup(s) celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup(s) scallions, finely chopped
- 1 ounce(s) carrot, shredded
- 2 tablespoon(s) fat-free mayonnaise, or salad dressing
- 1 egg, hard cooked, chopped
- 1 tablespoon(s) green olives, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
- 8 slices rye bread
- 4 lettuce leaves
Instructions

Combine all ingredients, except bread and lettuce, in a food processor or bowl.

Season with pepper to taste and mix well.

Chill thoroughly.

Spread ham salad over half the bread slices.
