Baked Pineapple & Bread

  • 1/2 cup(s) butter
  • 1 cup(s) white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch(es) ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch(es) ground nutmeg
  • 5 slices white bread, torn
  • 2 1/2 cup(s) 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice

Instructions

 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a medium-sized casserole dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together butter with sugar.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time.
  • Stir in cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Stir bread and crushed pineapple into the mixture.
  • Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake 60 minutes in the preheated oven, or until bubbly and lightly browned.
  • Ready in 1 hour 10 min.
