Decorative Candied Cranberries
Cranberries are great for more than just sauce and homemade garlands. This sweet treat is a great holiday dessert topper, or you can use these candied super fruits as decorations.

- 1/2 cup(s) sugar
- 4 ounce(s) water
- 1/2 cup(s) cranberries
Prick each cranberry twice with needle.
Boil the sugar in water until it spins a thread.
Put in the cranberries and cook them gently until syrup jellies when tested from the tip of a spoon.
Remove berries one at a time and place on wax paper.
Let stand until dry.
Dip the berries in granulated sugar.
This recipe makes about 25.
They are a festive decoration or garnish.
