Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup(s) milk
  • 3/4 cup(s) quick cooking rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup(s) oat flour
  • 2 tablespoon(s) flax seed meal
  • 2 tablespoon(s) sugar
  • 2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon(s) canola oil
  • 2 egg whites

Instructions
 

  • Heat milk until hot.
  • Stir in oats and let stand for 10 minutes.
  • Combine remaining dry ingredients, then, add oat/milk mixture.
  • Add egg yolks and oil.
  • Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, then, fold into batter.
  • Pour in scant 1/4 cupfuls onto hot greased griddle and flip after 2 minutes.
  • Cook until golden brown and serve.
