Stuffed Cabbage Casserole

There's no reason to make a stink over this stuffed cabbage casserole. Simply toss the ingredients together and let the slow-cooker do the work.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 ounce(s) lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup(s) instant rice
  • 1/2 cup(s) onions, chopped
  • 4 floz water
  • 15 ounce(s) Italian style tomato sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 1/4 cup(s) coleslaw mix
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onions until browned.
  • Drain grease.
  • Transfer mixture to a 6-quart slow cooker.
  • Add tomato sauce, coleslaw mix, rice, water, salt, and black pepper.
  • Cooker will be full but cabbage will cook down.
  • Cover and cook on low for 5 hours, or until cabbage is done.
