Steak with Chocolate Sauce

Chocolate sauce with the subtle taste of Dijon mustard makes a rich, decadent sauce for your favorite cut of steak. For a romantic dinner for two, filet mignon will do well.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 ounce(s) balsamic vinegar
  • 4 ounce(s) orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1/2 cup(s) Dutch cocoa powder
  • 2 ounce(s) melted bittersweet chocolate
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Dijon mustard
  • 1 olive oil
  • 6 small beef tenderloin steaks

Instructions
 

  • Put vinegar, orange juice, cocoa, chocolate and Dijon mustard in a mixer or a blender.
  • Add olive oil slowly until it's the desired thickness.
  • Grill steaks on outdoor grill or under broiler until desired doneness, turning once Allow to rest 5 minutes in a warm place.
  • Spoon about 3 to 4 tbsp of the chocolate vinaigrette on each plate.
  • Place the steaks on the sauce.
