Southernized Asian Scallops
The best of two distinct worlds collide with the Southernized Asian Scallops recipe. A traditional Asian scallop dish with a Southern twist. Ya'll come back now, ya hear?

- 2 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
- 5 large or Diver scallops
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 yellow grits
- 1 cucumber, peeled and seeded
- 1 tablespoon(s) wasabi powder
- 1/2 cup(s) mayonnaise
Heat oil in saute pan.
Dip one side of scallop in egg, then in grits.
Coat well.
Place scallop, grit side down, in pan and saute until golden brown.
Turn scallop over and saute 30 seconds.
Drain on a rack.
To make sauce, combine cucumber, wasabi powder and mayonnaise in food processor until combined.
